This bespoke embroidered art sees William De Morgan’s iconic tile design reimagined in stitch. The hand embroidered ‘tile’ has been stitched on recycled calico* and stretched over a wooden frame for display.
When purchasing one of these tiles, a donation of 25% will be made directly to the De Morgan Foundation, so they can continue to keep the legacies of William and Evelyn De Morgan alive. Created in collaboration with the De Morgan Foundation - www.demorgan.org.uk

This embroidered art is based on the original ceramic tile by William De Morgan, tin glazed earthenware from the Early Fulham Period. 6 inch tin glazed tile with a green relief rose on a turquoise background, dated between 1888-1897.
Part of the De Morgan Foundation collection and on display at Wightwick Manor and Gardens, Wolverhampton in their Tile Library.
